Planning the operation

The playing area is only part of the Sports Hall.

In addition to the clear sports area, allow for safety clearances, circulation, changing rooms, storage, possible spectators and technical facilities.

  1. 01

Which sports and performance levels should the hall support?

  2. 02

What clear footprint and height are required by the rules and safety clearances?

  3. 03

How many people will use the changing rooms, entrances and sanitary facilities at once?

  4. 04

Is space needed for spectators, equipment storage or dividing the area?

Technical solution

What the starting model actually contains.

The description is based on the issued template and verified model documentation. Detailed technical assessment belongs to the relevant specialists.

Technical design of the model

The load-bearing structure consists of seven transverse steel frames at six-metre centres. The 648 m² open internal space provides a spacious basis for sports facilities, training facilities or multi-purpose use.

The 11° gable roof consists of 120 mm insulated sandwich panels in RAL 9006. The wall cladding consists of 100 mm insulated panels in RAL 7016 with a RAL 6011 stripe. The design includes four 1 × 2 m glazed doors and eight fixed aluminium translucent panels. This is a study; the final member sizes, foundations, anchorage, fire-safety design and sports equipment will be determined by the subsequent specialist design. The third image is an AI-generated product visualisation, not a photograph of a completed building.

Sports equipment and facilities are not part of the model.

Surfaces, stands, changing rooms, acoustics, lighting, ventilation and fire capacity must be designed separately.
